An interesting story

Posted on 2020年1月20日2022年4月25日 By Selena W No Comments on An interesting story

Gai Dakuan is an interesting person. Today he told me that he picked the first tomato that he planted. I want to see the picture of the tomato, but he said he had already eaten it. He said he spent 100 dollars planting these tomatoes, but there are only two alive because of the cold weather. If his tomato plants only have one tomato, so the tomato is one hundred each.

Although his tomatoes are expensive, he must get a lot of happiness and joy from planting, watering, fertilizing these tomato plants. I think the joy of life is the process and meaning of doing one thing.

Notes:

Gai Dakuan is one of my Chinese students. He has been studying Chinese Mandarin with me for more than one year. He made himself the name Gai Dakuan. Gai is translate from his English surname, Dakuan means rich people, but there aren’t any people called this name because it means a person who is rich but have no knowledge. But Gaidakuan does not care about it, he said he is a foreigner so he can call himself this name because he thought Chinese girls like a rich guy. I hope he can find his dream girl one day!
