What Chinese People Wear on Their Wedding Day

Hello

In the past, when Chinese people got married, the bride wore a traditional Chinese cheongsam.  Nowadays, many Chinese people wear at least two dresses when they get married, one traditional Chinese dress and one Western dress.  This shows the fusion of Chinese culture and western culture.

The bride wears a Chinese dress when she leaves her parents’ house in the morning and wears a wedding dress when she holds her wedding ceremony in the afternoon.

Others change their clothes when toasting.  Some people think it’s a bit wasteful, haha.  What do you think?  But once in a lifetime, it must be beautiful!

If you like Traditional Chinese culture, or if your partner is Chinese, you can try a mixture of Chinese and Western culture.
